Insight is the site of clinical hypnotherapist James Warlock. He planned to maintain his own site through Dreamweaver, and therefore wanted a design and wireframes that he could put his content into.

James and I discussed his ideas and what his visitors were likely to want from the site, and then worked out a rough menu structure. I then created a clean, calm design, using neutrals and blue on plain white, with a simple sunburst header to echo his name for the site, which was inspired by the way hypnotherapy can help people gain insight into their problems. I built a home page using James' copy, and a sample general content page. This gave him the necessary template html, css, and images, with a range of styles that he could use for links, lists, etc. He then put these templates into Dreamweaver and created the remaining pages, inserting his own copy.

My involvement

This was a freelance project, in which I created the design and a couple of wireframes, as described above. I've since converted the site to run off the WordPress content management system, and have gone on to build two more sites for James with the same system.
